Preayers needed...

It's been awhile but I had to let everyone know that we have lost someone in the digi community. I don't think alot of people knew of her but Ruthie of Sugar Shack Scraps has last her battle with cancer. She was just recently diagnosed and didn't have time to say goodbye to her husband, 4 children, or 9 grandchildren. Please send your thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. My 7 facts about me, do you really want to know!! hee hee

1. I am Georgia born and Georgia raised. Only lived out of Georgia for about 2.5 years and that's when my oldest was born - in Jacksonville, Florida.

2. I am a widow - my husband and I were married July 1, 1995 and he died in a train accident on May 6th, 2003.

3. I used to be a dance teacher - first teaching baton and helping the dance teacher with all the other stuff. And recently have gotten into teaching Country Line Dancing - although haven't done much of that since my little one came along.

4. I have never broken a limb or bone - although I did get my foot caught in bicycle spokes and about cut me big toe off when I was about 5 or 6.

5. I am a big Nascar fan. Go Kasey Kahne......

6. I have two step-sons from my first marriage - and the oldest has two kids - a boy and a girl - so that makes me somewhat of a Grandma. But I told them to call me Nana - just didn't feel right being called Grandma. hee hee

7. I am 6.5 years older than my current dh.

I'M BACK AND A NEW STORE...

Hello all!! Well, I have been back since Sunday. What a great weekend we had and my man KASEY KAHNE won the All Star Race. Whooo hooooo - I was so darn excited to be there in person to see him win. Let's hope he does that well this coming weekend at the Coca Cola 600 which is again at the Lowe's Motor Speedway. Did anyone watch the race? We had awesome seats - the wrecks that did happen were right in front of us. We also got tickets for Friday night to qualifying and the truck race and were on the front stretch and again all the wrecks happened right in front of us. It was awesome watching the qualifying where they did two laps and then had to pit. If you are a fan and have never been you should go!! I would love to go there again!!

I'm OFF for the weekend....

Hello everyone!! Just wanted to let you know that we are off tomorrow to Charlotte, NC. Going to the All Star Race (Nascar). Can't wait - first time to Lowe's Motor Speedway!! Been busy all day trying to pack and trying to get some graduation invitations done for someone. Printing them out as I am typing this - and then I have to cut them.... Have to deliver tomorrow morning on my way out of town. Not to mention packing for out trip, going to my nephew's baseball game. Let's see what haven't I done today. Oh yeah - dh and I started on the Chantix pill two days ago. That's a pill to help you stop smoking. I am soooo hoping that it works. The first three days are a low dosage to get your body ready for it. Then after that it's full force!! hee hee Well, we will see. Well, I will post again when we get back. We will be back Sunday. Y'all have a great weekend!!
