New look and my B'day Gift

Hello all!! It's been awhile!! Been busy with the little munchkin and stuff!! I had a BIRTHDAY on the 17th (the big "37")!! Whoo hoooo!!! Just another day really!! Ended up helping Bentley work on a side job on my Birthday!! Of all days, huh? Oh well, it was fun - gave us some time together. Anyways, look what MAMA got for her B'day (well, it's a family present really)!!





Isn't he the cutest? His name is Tiger (Winnie the Pooh Tiger)!! He is 9 weeks old now!! I took him to the vet on last Friday and he was a little under weight (1.6 pounds) and has an upper respiratory infection, (vet gave me medicine) but other than that he is perfect!! I can tell that he will be up to par on his weight soon - because he is always hungry - tries to take stuff away from you!! So cute!! He's a cuddler - which I was hoping for!! Let's just hope that he doesn't outgrow it!! Will keep you updated on him!!

NEW LOOK

I finally got a new look!! Been trying for awhile to figure this blog layout and header stuff!! Even made my own but having trouble loading it right!! Must have it in the wrong size or something!! Anyway, I found a really great gal who give them away - Allie Brown!! This lady does awesome work and it was so easy to add - she even gives you directions on her blog. Big Boy Bed and some FREEBIES!!!

Hello everyone!! How's it going? Here it is pretty well. Guess what we did last night? That's right we changed Caden's crib into a toddler (Big Boy Bed). I have been dreading this day but knew it was coming. It only took about 45 minutes and lots of putting him back into the bed before he actually stayed in the bed and fell asleep. Check out his Big Boy Bed...




I thought ahead when I bought the crib and got a 4-in-1 that would change from crib to toddler bed to full size bed. Let me tell you it is well worth the money so that you don't have to buy a toddler bed (which they seem to outgrow in no time) or a full size. Will just have to buy the mattress. The only bad thing is when he gets up in the morning I won't be able to lay in the bed for a few more minutes like I could when he was in his crib. He is such a busy body that as soon as he wakes he's on the go. My little one is growing up (too fast)!! Sniff!! Sniff!!

Questions and another FRAME FREEBIE

Hello everyone!! I hope that you enjoyed the Family Frame Freebie. I made it in PSP. I have has someone who is using Photoshop Elements 6 ask me how to use it!! In PSP I use it just like a template. Can someone please let me know how you would use it in PSE? I do have PSE5 and this is what I came up with:

Here's what I did:

Open the frame template

Then use your Magic Wand Tool and click on the frame - you should see marching ants around the frame

Next open the photo that you want to put into the frame and do all your enhancing or whatever you need to do to it

Then hit ctrl A to select and then ctrl C to copy the photo

Then create a new layer above the frame

Next click on edit and paste into selection

Your photo should be there and you will have to resize it to the size of the frame but it is below the FAMILY word!!

**If someone has a better way please let me know!!
